




SECRETS OF POPULAR CULTURE is a
collection of nine essays about popular culture, and the way they are
influenced by, reflect, or illustrate, socio-cultural, political, and
philosophical themes. The book discusses 2D Disney animated movies, the
Smurfs,
Sex and the City, Korean action movies, Destiny's Child, Bratz, Family
Guy, South Park, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Starship Troopers, the
comic book Powers, and more. Each essay is accompanied by one illustration, two
of which are below. The book is now available in
